As a leading red wine producer in South Africa, Beyerskloof strives to create quality-driven wines, with a special focus on Pinotage and Pinotage blends. Our hard work starts in the vineyards, located in the historic Stellenbosch wine valley, and through diligent, innovative cellar practices, we are able to produce award-winning wines year-on-year.
VITICULTURE
The true character of a wine starts in the vineyards. Each site is treated uniquely. We break away leaves to ensure optimal sun exposure, and manage yields to maximise the flavour profile. At Beyerskloof, we love to work with bush vines, especially on our premium Pinotage. These vines deliver smaller berries, resulting in beautiful colour and enticing characterisitics.
VINEYARDS
Beyerskloof has three well established farms within the Stellenbosch Wine Valley from where we annually harvest our grapes. These farms provide access to a combination of premium and older vines, setting the tone in our aim to be one of the finest Red Wine producers. The first vineyards were planted in 1988, and we continue to establish new vines as required.
